Terrazzo Rain Court

A walk-in shower in speckled terrazzo porcelain, a chequer mosaic that drains, and a rain head set dead-centre.

Not every wet room wants marble. Here the field is a pale terrazzo with charcoal chips — laid tight, grouted quiet, every corner mitred. The floor drops to a grey-and-white mosaic, the rain head hangs on a chrome arm, and the mixer sits on the tile joint. The window and the bars stay. The room does not.
